Why Grey is the Best Favorite Color.

As a child, you may have been asked "whats your favorite color?" and as a young boy or girl you may have yelled out "PINK" or "BLUE" or something in-between. I, being the revolutionary thinker that I claim to be, would yell "GREY".

Can you just imaging parents HORRAR as their little girl yells out that grey is her favorite color. Is she already in her goth phase? Should they be concerned? Is their daughter trying to be edgy? None of those were the case, I wasn't trying to be emo or edgy or anything, grey is just may favorite color.

Think about it, your favorite color ideally would be the color you would chose if you got to choose the color of something. If I were to choose the color of my car, or the color of a laptop, I would chose grey. My life wouldn't be dull, it would all match no matter which hue, without clashing. Its genius really.

The color grey goes with anything, its like the jeans of color. No matter what it is paired with it will look like a good color combo. Everyone says that about black, but have you ever seen brown and black looking good together, no. However, brown and grey would look just fine. Its darker than white, but lighter than black, with so many shades in-between, you really can't go wrong with grey.

So next time someone asks me what my favorite color is, I will gladly say grey. Not because I'm trying to be some edgy teen, but because its the most versatile and simple yet elegant color.
